Jewelry artists:
We're growing our jewelry line and we're on a search for jewelry
artists to design for us!
Selected artists' designs will be featured in our Fall 2009 jewelry line,
and the artist will receive a minimum one year vendor
relationship with us to create their selected design(s)
for our line.
Cited by Professional Photographer magazine* with the
industry's prestigious Hot1 Award for excellence in innovation,
quality, and value for cost, Legacy Image Jewelry is available at more than 400 professional portrait studios,
galleries, jewelry and gift shops throughout the US, and the
list is growing.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What mediums are you looking for?
Jewelry makers of all disciplines (silver/goldsmithing, metal
clay, wire wrap, beading, etc.) are invited to submit designs.
Designs
must incorporate at least one of our Legacy Image photo
elements, but may incorporate more than one in a single design.
(Packets of photo element samples are available for your design
use.)
Would my jewelry be
purchased outright or is this a consignment arrangement?
Pieces are purchased outright for resale.
We do not support consignment sales.
How do I submit designs?
Design Submission Packets, with
raw samplings of our photo elements for use in your designs, are
available for order. Photos of your
finished designs can
be uploaded to our website for review.
Is there a fee for the packet of photo
elements?
There is a nominal fee for the packets, from 20.50 - 24.50,
depending upon the packet you select. The fee is
comparable to what one might pay to enter other jewelry design
competitions, and serves to filter out those who do not have an
earnest desire.
Must I order a packet to submit a design?
We want to see specifically what you can do with our photo
elements, as our buying decision will be based on those results.
What kinds of designs are you looking for?
Designs will be
reviewed for four design categories:
Settings: For pendants or charms
that can be
purchased alone to wear on a chain, cord or neckwire.
"Everyday Essentials": costume
or bridge jewelry with a wholesale price not exceeding 36.00.
Open Edition pieces:
bridge or fine jewelry wholesaling between 30.00 and 1800.00
Limited Edition pieces:
bridge or fine jewelry with reproduction limited to no more than
250 pieces.
How does the selection process work?
Designs will be
reviewed for artistic appeal, quality of craftsmanship, and
wearability. Deadline for photo submissions of
completed pieces is
June 30th. Initial culling will be done by examining your
submitted photo(s) of your design(s). Artists whose pieces are
being considered will be contacted to further discuss a vendor
relationship with us.
I'm a small jewelry studio. Will I
be able to keep up?
This is the
perfect opportunity for the small, single artist studio. All of our
jewelry is custom made to order, one or two pieces at a time. When
our dealer places an order, we create the photo element from the client's photo, and
the piece of
jewelry will be created by you for that specific order.
Will I be
recognized as the jewelry artist?
Absolutely! The selected designs
will be marketed with both the artist’s name and the Legacy
Image Jewelry name and/or logo. (i.e.
Artist's Name for Legacy Image Jewelry)
