Started in 1978 as a production retouching service, founder Laurie Draper's visionary approach to her craft quickly propelled the business to the forefront of the industry.  A rigorous attention to detail coupled with innovative applications created demand for the firm's services from pro photo labs and portrait studios nationwide. 

Along the way, Draper received numerous accolades for her work, from Retoucher of the Year and Best of Show honors at home in Michigan, to international recognition for her images accepted into the prestigious Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Loan Collection.  She holds both the PPA Master Artist and Photographic Craftsman degrees, and in 2002, was presented with the highest honor the 150-year-old organization bestows upon imaging professionals, the National Award, for a lifetime of meritorious contributions to Professional Photography. 

As technology evolved, Draper has continued to explore new applications for creative imaging, with a keen appreciation of her clients' wants and needs.   In January of 2006, Draper Imaging Group was cited as a PPA Hot1 Award Winner with their first entry into the competition - a line of artisan photo jewelry that far exceeds the dimensions of anything available on the market to date. 

Today, the firm has forged a presence in the industry built upon a solid foundation of real world experience that's spanned three decades.  Reinforced by the addition of Draper's son, AJ, to the family business, the technology expertise of the second-generation partner rounds out what has become an imaging tour de force.
